Who I am

Bsc(Hons), MCSP, MHCPC, MAACP

My name is Laura Middleton and I have been practicing physiotherapy for 10 years. I have worked extensively within the NHS and then within the private sector. I am passionate about helping people to maintain and improve their ability to move, giving them a greater quality of life.

Alongside my physiotherapy degree, I have my Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute level 2 qualification and barre training, allowing me to teach classes and add this into individual treatment sessions. I have also gained qualifications through the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and use this as a regular treatment option for my patients.

I initially trained as a dancer at Trinity Laban gaining my degree in London. It was here I was first introduced to Pilates and was lucky enough to be taught by a direct pupil of Joseph Pilates himself! Before this I gained my Scottish gymnastics Level 2 coaching qualification and have also worked alongside rugby teams as their match physio. These experiences have given me great knowledge of these sports, however, I can apply my skills to injuries from any sports and all walks of life.
